Terms of Service

Welcome to OzWIDE Engine Parts. By accessing this website or purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these terms. These terms apply to all transactions via our website, eBay, phone, email, or in-person.

1. Technical Advice and Specifications

1.1 General Guide Only: Any technical information, torque settings, fitment advice, or engine specifications provided by OzWIDE Engine Parts—whether accessed via our website, phone inquiry, email, or faxes—is intended as a general guide for qualified professionals only.

1.2 Installer Responsibility: It is the sole responsibility of the installer/mechanic to verify all specifications against the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) service manual prior to the commencement of any work. Reliance on any information provided by us is at the user’s own risk.

1.3 No Liability for Data: We source data from reputable third-party databases and do not warrant its absolute accuracy. OzWIDE Engine Parts expressly disclaims all liability for engine damage, component failure, personal injury, or incidental costs (including labor) resulting from the use of technical data provided by us.

2. Payments, Pricing, and Retention of Title

2.1 Payment Terms: Goods must be paid for in full before dispatch or collection. For approved trade accounts, payment is strictly due within the period specified on your account agreement or invoice (defaulting to 30 days if not specified).

2.2 Errors and Corrections: We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions (including pricing or stock levels) and to cancel or refund any order—even after payment—if a significant error is identified.

2.3 Retention of Title & PPSR: Legal ownership (title) of any parts supplied remains with OzWIDE Engine Parts until the customer has paid the purchase price in full. The customer acknowledges that these terms create a security interest under the Personal Property Securities Act 2009 (Cth). We reserve the right to register our interest on the PPSR and enter premises to recover goods that have not been paid for in full.

2.4 Recovery Costs: Any costs incurred in recovering overdue payments (including debt collection agency fees and legal costs) will be the responsibility of the customer.

3. Collection and Pickups

3.1 Appointment Only: Collections from our premises are strictly by appointment only. Please contact us to coordinate a suitable time.

3.2 PayPal Pickup Rules: To comply with merchant protection rules, orders paid via the website using PayPal must be delivered to the registered address. For in-person collections, payment must be made via Cash, Direct Deposit, EFTPOS, or our PayPal QR Code. We reserve the right to refuse pickup for transactions already paid via the standard website PayPal gateway.

4. Trade Accounts and Eligibility

4.1 Status Verification: Submission of a trade inquiry does not guarantee wholesale pricing. Trade status is granted at our sole discretion.

4.2 Minimum Requirements: We reserve the right to review, suspend, or cancel trade/wholesale access if a customer does not meet our minimum purchasing requirements (volume or dollar amount) or if their account remains inactive for extended periods. Trade pricing is intended for active industry professionals only.
