Refund / Returns Policy

Thanks for shopping with us at OzWIDE Engine Parts.

If you are not completely satisfied with your product purchase, and you wish to return it, we are here to help.

We will always provide a replacement, refund, or repair a product for you under warranty conditions. We may also provide a refund in other situations, at our discretion, where you request to return a product.

Under what circumstances will I (the customer) receive a refund, repair or exchange?

Where goods you purchase:

  • Are not as advertised or do not match the description
  • Manufacturing defects

In addition to these circumstances, we may also provide a refund or exchange at our discretion when you make a reasonable request for us to do so. We are flexible in this regard and will look at each request on a case by case basis.

Under what circumstances will I (the customer) not be eligible for a refund, repair or exchange?

  • Non Stocked items, that are procured (ie Means an item that is not in our stock and which has been sourced at your request.)
  • Items damaged, or opened, not in original packaging.
  • Change of mind.
  • You misused the product or service in a way that contributed to damage.
  • Items been modified or changed to suit any other application other than originally intended. 

Refund methods

In most cases we will refund in the same way you paid. Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a replacement item, partial refund, store credit or exchange.

Shipping

  • Shipping costs are non-­refundable
  • All items being returned must have tracking information and adequately packaged to prevent transit damage and shipping insurance.
  • We highly recommend that customers arrange postage insurance to cover any damage that may occur in transit as OzWIDE Engine Parts will not be held responsible.
  • The Customer must notify OzWIDE Engine Parts of the tracking information.
  • The Customer is responsible for all return shipping and freight insurance costs.
  • Some items on our website include free or discounted postage, however, if you decide you would like a refund the customer is responsible for all initial postage cost incurred by OzWIDE Engine Parts.
  • Initial postage costs will vary depending on what item/s where purchased and the delivery address.

Fees

Depending how you paid, payment processing fees are non-refundable, this includes PayPal and Credit Cards.
Incurred freight costs, shipping cost and freight insurance are non-refundable.
Customer is responsible for all return shipping cost and freight insurance.
A restocking fee of 15% of the original purchase price is payable.

Non Stocked or Special buy-in orders

Non-stocked items or products that have had a special buy-in are non-refundable.

14 Day Return Policy

OzWIDE Engine Parts offers a 14-day return policy on stocked items only. This return policy does not cover special orders or buy in requests (eg. Non Stocked Items are non refundable).  This policy is subject to the returned item/s being in their original unopened packaging, including all accessories, and must not be damaged in any way whilst the item is in the customer’s possession. Products that the customer has requested to be ordered in are also excluded from this policy. There will be a restocking fee of 15% of the original purchase price.

Steps to return an item via the Internet

  1. You MUST notify OzWIDE Engine Parts via email at admin@ozwideengineparts.com.au or phone (07) 3439 6179 within 14 days of the purchase date.
  2. If your item/s is accepted for return OzWIDE Engine Parts will notify you of the return procedure and fees (refer to our policy).
  3. Once items are received and inspected any applicable refund will be initiated within 3 business days of the approval decision by OzWIDE Engine Parts. The time for the customer to receive their refund is dependent on the original form of payment.

Steps to return an item In Store

  1. You MUST notify OzWIDE Engine Parts via email at admin@ozwideengineparts.com.au or phone (07) 3439 6179 within 14 days of the purchase date.
  2. OzWIDE Engine Parts will either approve or reject approval for a refund (or store credit) as per the Return Policy. Item/s must be inspected by OzWIDE Engine Parts prior to the final approval and a restocking fee will be applied.
  3. Any applicable refund will be initiated within 3 business days of the approval decision by OzWIDE Engine Parts.
  4. Note that the actual time for the customer to receive their refund or store credit may vary depending on external factors.
