Welch plugs, core plugs or freeze plugs are generally replaced when rebuilding or repairing your engine.
If your engine has steel type plugs they are prone to corrosion, this is why we supply quality aftermarket brass welch plugs in this kit.
Note: The 35mm welch plugs with the 12mm hole are steel
