This upgrade gear type oil pump is the best solution when rebuilding your engine.
The factory OE vane type pumps are harder to prime and are known to break or wear the vanes inside the oil pump.
No more quick 15 minute oil changes required.
Modifications Required:
- We have found slight modifications are required to the oil pan baffle to allow clearance.
Generally it’s a simple procedure to cut/grind away part of the baffle plate to allow clearance for the new upgrade gear type oil pump. - We supply simple instructions on installation and modifications required. We recommend this work to be carried out by a qualified technician.
